Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of checkit.health (the "Service"), operated by iAriya. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What checkit.health is — and is not

checkit.health provides educational health and wellbeing tools and AI-generated guidance. It is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health, and never disregard or delay professional advice because of something you read here. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account; adults may record a child’s information on the child’s behalf using the Children’s Health Centre.

4. Plans, billing & cancellation

checkit.health offers a Free plan and a paid subscription (the "Paid" plan). Paid pricing is shown at checkout ($4.95/month or $49.50/year at the time of writing) and may be updated over time. Subscriptions renew automatically for the period you selected until cancelled.

You can cancel anytime; your Paid access continues until the end of the current paid period, after which your account reverts to the Free plan. Payments are processed by Stripe and Flutterwave. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: attempting to break security or access other users’ data, reverse-engineering the Service, using it unlawfully, or relying on it as a substitute for professional medical care.

6. Your data & content

You own the health information you enter. Most of it is stored in your device vault (see our Privacy Policy). You grant us the limited permission needed to operate the Service, including processing anonymised inputs to generate AI insights.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, content and branding, is owned by iAriya and protected by law. These Terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that AI insights are accurate, complete or suitable for your circumstances, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, iAriya will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any health decision you make based on the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.

11. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date; continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
