Baby Height / Length Percentile
Children's Health Centre by checkit.health
Length vs height
Under about 2 years, babies are measured lying down (length). After that, they’re measured standing (height), which reads slightly shorter. Growth charts account for this, so use the measurement method that matches your baby’s age.
What the percentile means
The percentile shows how your baby’s length compares to others the same age and sex. Anywhere along a steady curve is healthy — the pattern over time matters more than a single number.
